Balancing system energy: In large systems, the controller is responsible for balancing the energy of the photovoltaic system, ensuring that all parts of the system operate normally. It also prevents the solar panels or battery arrays from being connected with reversed polarity, as well as internal short circuits in the load, controller, inverter, and other devices.

Lightning protection: The controller has lightning protection features, using components such as varistors to prevent damage to the controller itself from lightning strikes.

Temperature compensation: Monitors battery temperature and adjusts charging and discharging values to keep the battery in an ideal state.

Displaying operational status: Shows various operational statuses of the photovoltaic system, such as battery voltage, load status, battery array operational status, auxiliary power status, environmental temperature status, fault alarms, etc.

The photovoltaic controller ensures the stable operation of the solar power generation system and the safety of the equipment through these functions, making it the core control part of the entire photovoltaic power supply system.
